ALTERNATE MODE:
In line with the theme of the new Arcade Renegades set, Old Cool transforms into an arcade cabinet, which is pretty cool.
Based on the screen, it is a fighting game, and most of the paint budget was used here with the red joystick, blue buttons and black base. You can see there is a slight hollow piece on the underside when viewing from the back.
As a BotBot, Old Cool is very small, much smaller than a typical Legions figure.
TRANSFORMATION:
While simple, it is clever and very effective at this small size. Flip the base with the controls down, fold out the legs, fold down the arms and flip open the screen to reveal the face.
ROBOT MODE:
Old Cool has a pretty decent robot mode as well and it is immediately recognizable.
There's no kibble at all, everything is pretty well integrated into the robot mode.
The face is sculpted with a visor and faceplate. It's a bit wide but looks good nonetheless.

Articulation is limited to swinging the arms around, but Old Cool looks so cool that it doesn't matter.
OVERALL:
Old Cool is a great little BotBot and yet another winner in the line. Despite all the other new arcade themed molds, they each have their distinct personality and Old Cool feels unique from them.
