Trouble 80 – Master of Love
A hilarious chapter, the funniest chapter we’ve had in a while. Lala gets a seduction book and tries it out to Rito, and the results are simply laugh out loud. Definitely read this chapter as I enjoyed it so much, the jokes are great, and there is a slightly touching moment at the end.
Trouble 81 – Queen of Love!?
Another good chapter to read, the humour is not to the same degree as the previous one though. The beginning started off quite well, and it ended nicely, and Zastin’s clueless involvement was great. The middle is a bit boring and uninteresting, but I’m biased since I don't like Saki’s character.
Trouble 82 – Transformation
A chapter that’s mostly boring until the end, where it livens up a bit (but then again, I always say that when Yami’s in it). Rito becomes charming after eating some medicine, and he goes flirting with some girls, amusing, but not terribly interesting.
Trouble 83 – Love + Sport = !?
A decent chapter considering that it focuses on Saki. It’s sports day, and the first event is a horse back race. The boys being envious of Rito is quite funny, and then at the end where Zastin says he didn't see anything is also great, I just wished that got turned into a recurring gag, as it is funny every time I see it (only happened once before in “Queens of Love?!”).
Trouble 84 – Dark Side of the Athletic Festival…
This chapter focuses on Haruna and Rito, and they have a touching moment together. We learn that Haruna hadn’t noticed Rito as long as Rito had noticed her, which is a bit… painful I guess, for Rito at least. Other than that, nothing else is notable.
Trouble 85 – Let’s Play
An ordinary chapter, I couldn't find much that is interesting about it. A skunk gets loose and turns a lot of people young again, not that funny, this chapter doesn't have much going for it.
Trouble 86 – Oh My Little Sister
Focused on the relationship between Kotegawa and Rito, we learn a little bit more about Kotegawa. Rito once again saves the day by doing what he does best, grabbing someone and running away, that seems to work every time and gets on the girl’s good side too, two birds with one stone… a nice chapter that isn’t too boring.
Trouble 87 – War at the Public Bath
Despite what the title suggests, it is not only fan service with no plot, two bounty hunters head off to Earth to try and catch Yami. The ending is another cliffhanger (being a two chapter story arc), but Yami has to fight Rito! Overall, it is a better chapter than I had anticipated.
Trouble 88 – War at the Public Bath 2
A good end to the story arc, Yami is pretty cool in this chapter with all the fighting moves and powers. We also see the relationship between her and Mikan start to take shape and becoming more solid.
We see that Yami do care about Rito as she didn't kill him, and the remote control at the end where everything was over was quite funny, with Yami wanting to try it as well, a nice chapter to read.
Omake. Explosing Heat Girl Magical Kyoko Flame!!
A three-page short showing what I assume to be a typical episode of Magical Kyoko that Lala just adores (even the dialogue suggest that pretty much the same thing happens every time). We see that the show is very childish…
Overall
Not a bad volume, a lot of the chapters are really funny and good. There is a wide variety here, focusing on Rito’s relationship with pretty much the whole female cast up until this point.
