Book Review: The 104-Storey Treehouse
Review: #836
Title: The 104-Storey Treehouse
Series: Treehouse - 8th book
Author: Andy Griffiths
Comments: As the eighth book in the series, you will know what to expect. That being said, you can’t help but feel that the author is running out of ideas as it is yet the same premise (deadline for new book coming, problem arises, events ends up being the book instead) and the same style of jokes. There is too much padding especially the numerous pages of just the characters climbing a staircase, which feels extremely lazy. Once is enough but when this happens repeatedly over various books, it doesn’t work much anymore. The story is simple and is pretty much a bunch of random ideas strung together as Andy and Terry show off the new features of their treehouse. While this is not a terrible book, it isn’t anything new by this point.
